Economics 1740 - (Economic history of the United States)

Having read this book, I have had my eyes opened to the intricacies of the United States economic system. I have expanded upon my knowledge of the U.S. Federal Reserve and its role in our economy. My previous conceptions of equality were challenged as I contemplated Friedman's work. This book allowed me to appreciate the many social programs we have as safety nets in our society (however averse to them Friedman may express). I grew a lot from reading this book and have come to be grateful for the work that our government does to protect us, the consumers.
